cabin rental for privates with smoke sauna
During your stay, you can take part in Herrankukkaro’s wide range of outdoor activities at your own pace. The grounds offer a nature trail, fishing rods, bicycles, a swimming pier, a forest disc golf course and a variety of lawn games. Equipment for the activities can be borrowed free of charge after check-in. Herrankukkaro’s smoke sauna is open free of charge to overnight guests every evening from 17:00 to 19:00.
Evening snack
After the sauna, something simple and delicious hits the spot. For overnight guests, we offer a buffet-style evening snack for an additional charge, featuring make-your-own sandwiches with chicken, fish and vegetarian fillings. Choose between Herrankukkaro’s own archipelago bread and rieska flatbread for rolling. On the side, you’ll get green salad and potato salad, easy and delicious! The evening snack can be purchased when booking (€22 per person).
New Year 31.12.2026 – 1.1.2027
Welcome to ring in the New Year in the embrace of the archipelago. You’ll stay in the cosy cottage of your choice and can spend the evening late into the night either in your own peace or in the shared spaces in the company of other revellers. The evening includes the smoke sauna and warm-water pools, and if you like, you can order a New Year’s dinner (€29 per person) when booking. Setting off fireworks is prohibited in the Herrankukkaro area.
Herrankukkaro is reachable by car with parking close to the accommodation. The drive to Naantali is about 20 minutes and to Turku about 40 minutes.

Arrival at 14:30
14:30 – 14:45 Welcome: A greeting from the sauna host, a short introduction to Herrankukkaro, awarded Finland's best tourism company, and a guided introduction to sauna.
14:45 – 17:00 Free use of Herrankukkaro's earth smoke sauna and village smoke sauna, as well as the warm-water pools. Opportunity to swim in the sea.
16:30 – 18:30 Archipelago feast – a different take on wild and nature-based food, prepared in the traditional way.
18:30 Departure.
