Here are short descriptions of some of our activities.
EXCURSIONS IN ARCHIPELAGO
Evening archipelagian way
Rowing excursion with large fishing boats to an exotic island called Nimetön (Anonymous). During the trip, fishing by traditional methods is offered. Your catch is cleaned and cooked on the embers of the campfire. The trip continues by walking or climbing up the cliffs until the peak of the island is reached, where the spectacular view over the island can be admired. Once there, coffee and pancakes are cooked on the campfire. You can take part in team assignments and draw in the fishing nets during the return trip.
Bootlegger´s boattrip
In the ever-changing nature we travel with boats to the bootlegger’s caves on the neighbouring island, where you will experience adventure and moonshine tasting.
Duration 1,5 h.
Summernight Safari
At dusk we leave on fishing boats heading towards the most beautiful archipelago. On the reedy waters we’ll fish by torchlight, catching our prey with spears. During the evening, the catch is cleaned and cooked on a waterfront campfire accompanied by a sing along. Accommodation for the night is under shelter in a warm sleeping-bag.
ON THE SEA
Cruise to Little Guardian Island
Beautiful little island in the middle of Airisto open sea is an interesting place to visit. For years ago there lived the guard of the Loistokari Island with his family. Stories tell that children were tied to the corners of the cottage preventing them to run to the sea. On the island there is some teamwork mission to complete and after it sausages are grilled and coffee cooked.
